Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are the latest and safest battery technology. The batteries listed here are manufactured to the highest quality standards. One third of the weight of lead acid batteries with many times the life span. The batteries we stock can often be a direct substitute for the SLA batteries of the same size. These battery packs are made from standard 18650 (C sized cylindrical) cells connected in series and parallel into robust packs. Each pack has an electronic system to prevent overcharge and overdischarge which is crucial for LiFePO4 lifespan. However it is still important that applications do not exceed the recommended limits for long life.
